As a book lover, I am always in the lookout of good books.
I remembered seeing a movie title - "The Notebook" during my previous trips to US. Had always wanted to watch but ended up choosing other movies..
One day, I was chatting with sis's bf and he actually has the book. I was so happy! I prefer reading the book than watching the movie. I have read PS I Love You and Time Traveller's Wife which I found them better than the movies. He lent me the book and this is how I started on books by Nicholas Sparks.
The Notebook - I find it too cheesy, especially in the middle of the story... but towards the end, I can feel the man's love for his wife when she has Alzheimer.. overall still acceptable
A Bend in the Road - Good storyline and great ending. A happy one. :)
The Wedding - A twist in the end... caught me by surprise. I almost missed my stop while I read in the train!
Message in a bottle - still reading it.. very curious as I read each chapter.... Hmmm...
I still have 2 more books in the queue... :p
