Awesome August.. please😁

My least favourite and the month with the tendency of anxiety came in a whiff😳..

1st week -  Lil C had to stay back everyday except for Thurs. After the NE show last month, its like their 2nd learning journey for this year to watch a cultural show at Hokkien Huay Kuan. Stayed back on a Wednesday till 5pm. I went to causeway point citrusox to get long ankle socks for her national day concert Chinese dance performance. Also went to Popular to get listening comprehension practice book since lil C told me they did one practice in school and is much difficult than P4. In the end, I also bought 2 Math assessment books and they are so well written. A great find! Had to buy another higher chinese book, mainly focusing on 语文应用 for more practice in prep for the WA. 🙏

The long national day weekend of 5 days went by quickly. And it's the first in 5 years she didn't play games. She had agreed that since the mid year WA, she will not play games 2 weeks before WA and exam. 🙏 We did a lot of revision and I am glad that she is still happy as long as she gets to watch her YouTube and Netflix. She still sings, dances and laughs.. She was even embarrassed to let me hear her sing. But she continues to find shows to watch. She laughed so much when she watched Thunderman last month. Then besides Riverdale, she watched Stranger Things. Different genres attracted her. As long as she still laughs and enjoys herself albeit the increased workload, I am thankful.

The WA arrived on 22nd. I made dinner for 5 days consecutively like the mid year WA.
Sun: the usual huai dhan soup, chicken stew, onion egg combi
Mon: Salmon rice for her and pumpkin beehoon for hub
Tues: Cabbage chicken  soup, steamed soon hock, braised chicken with carrots, canned mushrooms and egg
Wed: Steamed rice
Thurs: Teriyaki chicken, steamed red crimson, celery

Thankfully lil C managed to finish the papers on time. It is a feat to complete a week of test. I could still vividly remember sitting for tests and exams as a student. Hence I understand its not easy. She was so chirpy on Friday. Its the last paper and she doesn't seem stressed out by the WA. She's so looking forward to be able to play games. Haha

Time just flew by.. WA over then results out. She did quite well except for Higher Chinese. She barely passed the 理解问答 and thankfully the 语文应用 sections help her overall, at least not to fail. Hence I am contemplating of dropping higher chinese for psle since she also not keen in writing 2 compositions in total for normal and higher chinese. It is also taxing since we also revised the 语文 section conscientiously. 😳

28th: We went for Pan Pac buffet with mum and RB as mil was still C19+. I couldn't eat much as I felt bodyache and unusually tired. Prob is my body adjusting to Ollie that I started on 26th.

29th: SG made mask wearing indoors in most places not compulsory. But we are still going to put on. I am surprised when lil C told me that some teachers took off.

30th: felt like eating mooncakes. Tried the Mandarin oriental baked low sugar but not nice.

For teachers' day, I decided to get customised pouches. Was happy to hear from lil C that her Art teacher kept the presents over the years since P3.

Thankfully the month ended all good. 🙏♥️

January 2023🌹

Another long weekend before school reopens on 4th. We spent the new year having late lunch steamboat at COCA Taka. The chicken soup and items were surprisingly good. We then bought pineapple tarts from Juz Bread and gua zi at the Taka Fair. It's been a few years since I bought their PT. Lil C wanted to eat the taiyaki and it was also the first time we had to queue for a long time. After that we head to uniqlo northpoint to buy her cny clothes. Managed to find slim flared jeans and tops that she likes! We were so thirsty and sat down and Starbucks for drinks. Lil C was so elated that she had a drink all by herself and drank so slowly. Haha. We ended our first day of the year with hokkien mee, fish curry and baguette for super late dinner at 9 plus pm (hub and I).

2nd: first facial of the year and I took the TEL to springleaf, bus 860 and walked home. 💚

3th: last day before school starts. I went through some work errors with lil C and I wanted it to be a relaxing day although I need to make dinner 🙏

4th: the school year starts! I was feeling surreal more than stressed. Found her cute missing front tooth P1 picture. 😍
First week ended with minimal lessons, Admin stuff, study skills workshop. But she left her handbook in class when she didn't know her friend put it under her desk. Just hope carelessness don't continue to hit her this year...

Mrs Lim started with Fractions word probs instead of algebra. Lil C been learning the new P6 Fractions while I am thankful to teacher Janice from Jimmy Math and also the Math prob sums books from visible math academy. We learn together. 🙌

This year is so different. We received the WA dates and marks weightage notice on second week of school. Also on the supp classes dates. Since it is the cny month, classes will only start in Feb.

CNY break flew by and lil C lamented that it was so sad. But at least she celebrated and played since the WA is on Feb and CNY was so early this year. But it rained so so much and its a extremely unusual cold CNY. Lil C started to have nose bleed before CNY arrived and a lot of dried pi sai. When the cold weather hits, she suddenly sneezed on day 1 and lasted the entire day. As since day 1 and cannot take zyrtec, can only rely on oils. At night I did nose irrigation for her after so many years. Helped her to sleep better. Very thankful that she was so much better on day 2 with slight mucus in nose. We could go to mil and aunt Fen place.

Puberty seems to reach its peak and lil C does not eat as much as before.

7th day is celebrated at pei house. We could not celebrate this year but hub said ok to give red packets but through me instead of him. I broke a plate on eve. Haiz.. 🙏

Decided to take bus 807 home after school on 25th when school resumes after CNY. Surprisingly we reached home almost the same time as when we take taxi. Lil C enjoyed it and hope to take together with Chloe soon. She was excited with YX also boarded our bus after a few stops.

Fan taisui year, I only wish for lil C 平安喜乐,身体健康 albeit being a highly at stake and important year.

On 26th, she limped a little while walking out of school. She fell when someone knocked her while playing during recess. Haiz.. Thankfully she felt better when I used ginger patch on her.

This year is an action packed year, friendship meant even more to her. Hope that she can find some comfort admist the hustle and bustle of school life.

This month also marks the first time lil C attends TPL at Crown Centre. Been making breakfast every Saturday. We also excitedly explored the Star vista mall and the tomato udon from itacho became her regular lunch menu. As for me I found the nam kee mee hoon kueh there as well as spinach cheese bread from crown bakery.

A good start to the new year. がんばって🙏

September.. 🌈💪

September, a 'lunatic' month, as described by Ms Gen. The lunar 8th month for Mid Autumn and of course the PSLE. Hmm.. I guess I would describe the month in the same way same time next year. 😬

We started the month by going to Pei's house for dinner on the first weekend. And the least expected, gossip, heartaches and even made me tear news. My cousin announced that he is getting a divorce and even sat me down to fill me with the details. For the weeks that follow, our family had speculations, felt that his wife and daughter are pitiful. I felt it was a punishment perhaps too harsh, not as if she had committed adultery. It was also a lesson to be learnt for us, like my mum said. Push to the limits, guys can be so harsh too. However, I am also disappointed in him. He is close to me since young. But until now, I then realised the kind of guy he was. 好高骛远, 不切实际,自私自利。So scary! He rescinded the divorce papers and asked to go home only because he is worried about his job security and money matter suddenly. I even found out from my sis that he borrowed money from my aunt to pay for legal fees. What a jerk! I feel so sorry for my cousin in law. She gave in eventually as he asked to go back home and fulfilling the conditions without knowing the real reason behind him wanting to rescind the divorce. And we can't even tell her. 😔.. Goodness.. Seriously hope this won't happen to myself and the ladies around me.

Managed to did some revision during the September hols. Also signed lil C up for MQ and Think Teach academy Math holiday program. Thought that it might be beneficial especially she can see the electric circuit experiment for Electricity. As for the Math, she ended up being the only P5 child. But I felt it was a good early exposure especially to P6 style of word sums.

Mid Autumn came quickly on 10th. Its been 2 years since the group restrictions of 8 and 5 pax. But it ended up Aunt Fen wanted to go to mum's house and called upon Pei's mil for the weekly MJ session. YR's family also went. It's like CNY gathering.. This year, mooncakes are in stock. I ordered rose choc strawberry from Raffles Hotel and Momoyama from Lian Huat. Mooncake in abundance this year unlike the past 2 years.

Term 4 started on 12th. 16th no school again for PSLE listening. Here comes the hectic Term 4 with many no school days.

When I received the exam schedule, I am a lil jittery, as always. I cannot help but be reminded of the cancellation of last year's EOY exam..

Prep of oral started over the Sept hols and the week after and I am worried because due to the new Chinese e Oral video format, lil C needs to speak more fluently and conversation type questions are not her strength. But lil C is not as nervous the night before, unlike in P3. Since P4, she is calm before Oral. 🙏 She even said she would rather have Chinese oral than CCA. In a swift, oral is over. First time in 3 years that they were held separately in 2 days. I was so much calmer this year. Not as nervous as before. Its really not worth getting stressed up.. As usual, I made her favourite stir fried pasta and brought to school.

The weather is erratic especially this month when the cloudy days are followed by sunny days. Lil C been sneezing and she had nose blood on Sat, 17th. I gave zyrtec, oil antihistamine blend, roman chamomile, t3 and also nose spray. Diffuse RC, T3 and lavender when she sleeps. Thankfully the allergy went off the next day.

I am worried as she kept having nosebleed this month, always due to her pricking her nose, after shower, once even slight bleeding in school and most probably also due to the erratic sunny, cloudy, rainy weather.

21st: A scare for me. Its been 3 years since she told me her throat is a lil painful. I quickly gave vit C, cooling lime water, chrysanthemum tea, oil copaiba, T3, roman chamomile. Also oregano on throat vita flex. Asked her to gargle salt water too. She also tried thieves throat lozenges for the first time. Thankfully she was alright the next day.

23rd: Hub turned 43. Since its a Friday school day, we can watch TV together in the morning before heading to Singtel to cancel the Singtel TV for my mum. We tried boat noodles and he was thrilled to see chicken skin on the menu. He went for a massage in the late afternoon. I ordered tarts from le tart and dinner from Kenny Rogers. Forgot that we also had KR for his birthday last year.

This erratic weather resulted in after almost 3 years of no allergy symptoms, lil C experienced them once again. Dry mucus in nose and sneezed more often which then developed into throat irritation, slight cough. Myrtle to the rescue.. I was so relieved when she spitted out the sticky gluey phelgm.

28th: She was so happy that she could play catching again during recess. They totally missed playing from P3 to P4 and until now. But as PSLE starts the next day, they were asked not to play.

As for me, I had to wake up earlier to cook her food for recess as requested by the school for them to bring their own food till next Wednesday so as to give the priority to P6s. Tiring for me..

Praying for good health and all goes smoothly.. As always. Nothing more. 🙏

January 👏💪🙌

Feels like flipping the calendar all over again. Like what lil C said, last year this and that 😅

1st Jan: We went to Millenia and had lunch at Meidiya foodcourt. Its has been a long while since we dine at a foodcourt. Lil C requested for the hokkaido strawberry ice cream. The cheeky her insisted hub and I to hold hands and me to lean on him as we walked around Harvey Norman. 🤣 We finally bought the Japanese strawberries from Don Don Donki at Suntec. Its so crowded but the queue was fast. Lil C wanted to try the Japanese sweet potato but didn't like it. It was so sweet that hub felt it was not real sweetness from the vegetable itself. We also bought fish soup from a restaurant, 熬 and lil C likes the taste.

I had insomnia for 4 nights from 1st. It must be due to hormones since it was close to my menses.

2nd: We had wanted mum and Bing to come over to play MJ but he was going out with his witch gf. In the end, Pei and family came over with mum instead.

It's another year when school started on 5th. Lil C was excited when she had another day of hol on 4th. Finally had her dental checkup on 4th at I dental, Northpoint and all went well. She has 4 more adult teeth to grow. All at the corners. 😅

School started with excitement especially when Mrs Bok taught them on human reproduction. She has been telling us all about it and how the boys were embarrassed. The Math teacher is the gan cheong type and kept lamenting on how they are running out of time. Seriously, like the first few days of school? And she kept scolding the class everyday. I just hope that it will not cause negative vibes..

She sat at the first row again after Pratisha asked her to sit in front of her. They were free to choose seats on first day. I am glad that she has a friend in the new class but just hope that all will be good for the rest of year. 🙏

Mon and Tues are the toughest days as she has to stay back for CCA and higher mother tougue. I did not expect that CCA will be changed from Tuesdays to Mondays and she has Pique Lab class on Monday. 😏 Ms Jolie is funny and she wants to remain in her class. I just hope that there will be available seat on Thursday. The first lesson after Mon CCA day went well although she complained about aching hands after writing alot. She was hungry after school and I gave her fruits bread and biscuits as she attends class. Mama also ate with her and sat in with her. 😍

Finally went for pedi and mani on Monday, 17th and then to Chong Pang to buy new pots of plants.

Lil C is very driven amidst the busy schedule although she still laments on having alot of homework and P5 and P6 are torturing. She even tried to finish all her homework on Friday so that she doesn't need to worry about it over the weekend. Work hard, play hard..

She also enjoys watching Spiderman cartoon on Disney+ and finished all 5 seasons!

And she tried laksa in school, first time not spicy but second time spicy. 😋

When she told me her menses came in school on Monday, 24th, my heart skipped a beat. I should have trusted my instincts to put the sanitary bag in her school bag. Luckily her friend in the Chinese dance cca gave her one. Then thr next day, she told me she almost lost her wallet. Thankfully Chelsea picked it up and brought it to general office.

It's extremely difficult to find a suitable Chinese enrichment centre. I was very mad with Hua Cheng after her worksheets were unmarked and the teacher used her phone during class while they were writing compo. She also didn't explain the meaning of the hard words. What's the use of 默写.. Decided to stop her after Term 1.

Réunion dinner at our place again. I ordered food from Neo Garden very early and the Chongqing grilled fish was a hit. It was quite a disasterous night when hub spilled the cheng teng and I almost got so mad at him for commenting that I should not bring the buns out. In the end, I kept my cool. Mum and rest left so late and in the end I could not shower before 11pm. The only consolation is the cheng teng I cooked. The white fungus was very soft.

Lil C also stayed up till 11pm to pray ti gong. I could not sleep after finished praying. Haiz...

As we said bye to the first month, we will be saying hi to CNY tomorrow...

Feb, hello. 👋

February 🍊🍍💖🧧🧨

A short CNY this year as lil C returns to school on Day 3.
My MJ luck continued. Hub has minor gout and thankfully all was well.

Lil C started Math one on one online tuition with Ms Jan on 4th. In the end, did not go well..

Tried fruits yusheng on 7th day and I added strawberries and mandarin oranges. Hub and I like it while lil C only likes the strawberries. This year she doesn't like the crackers anymore.

Had a scare while preparing for dinner when mum called on 6th that she is C+. Thankfully she had very mild throat discomfort and recovered within a week.

We had such a good laugh during the trial Edugrove class on 12th as the teacher used alot of filters on zoom. Signed her up and also hope all will be well.

V day not as sweet as before. No energy to do anything too. Hub ordered food from park Royal but it came nearly 2 hours late. LH to the rescue after Pique Lab lesson. Made chicken bolognese fusilli with chicken cheese balls for lil C while we waited for the food.

17th: She was elated that she won second place in  Spelling Bee. But she was not selected for guitar lessons while all her close friends were. I guess she has no fate with strings instruments.

Managed to changed her vaccine appointment to 18th. The number of daily cases is soaring and worrying. She cutely said that Pratisha bluffed her. It was painful. Thankfully she only had mild arm ache.

I had my booster finally on 25th. Finally it was not some young chap doing it and it was not as painful when the needle went in. Luckily I did not have serious side effects other than mild arm ache for 2 days and body feeling warm the day after. But I was very afraid it would throw my hormones off balance once again 😔

We were upset with LBM suddenly sent a message that Ms Elysia is leaving. Why the good teachers always leave... 🥺🥺

As for her class, there are C+ cases on and off and in 4H, I heard there were 8 cases and hence they have to be on HBL. Just hoping all will be OK for her class...

This month I learned about numerology after Bing introduced Dr Khim to us. It is interesting as it is quite accurate for the personality.

Unfortunately I had a huge argument with Hua Cheng on 26th. Gosh! I wanted to rest after the vaccine and was having dinner when the Admin called and stated her nonsense. I was really tired of their attitude. Decided to call it a day. We stopped lil C from attending class the next day 27th and onwards.

Guess what.. Both Math and Hua Cheng cancelled abruptly.. I became the teacher for both. 🙏

It was definitely an undesirable February... But we will march on... 🤝💪

November 🧡💖❤️💙💟💚

Anger had crept into me so easily and harshly in recent years. It had gotten worse when I experienced giddiness. Then, headaches. A wakeup call. 🥺

Finally I resumed treatment at Dorra on 1st, 5th, 8th.. The cellulite treatment on 5th left me with literally swollen thighs and a huge bruise. Thankfully I remembered the chocolate sugar Scrub and was so impressed when my thighs swell and pain on touch were immediately gone after use on 8th. The lymphatic system is working to remove the water retention there, I guess. 🙏
But my weight is in the 73s..WORRYING 😪😵

1st week: Lil C started on Pique Lab Science trial and Lil But Mighty English and decided to carry on for P5. 🙏

5th: We waited for half an hour more for lil C to finish school. It was unusual and little did I expect it was due to a confirmed case in her class. The principal had to brief their class. That evening, I did ART test for her and submitted to MOH.

For the second week, we both woke up earlier. She had to do the test every morning before school and I had to sent the proof to her school. On 11th, it was the last I was so thankful!

As expected, she was being offered higher mother tongue on 9th. We had always been saying that she would not take it up. In the end, when the option form is in front of me, I was in two minds. She wanted to give it a shot. Her BFF is taking it up too. Alas! I chose the HCL option. I only hope she won't be too stressful next year.

My birthday celebration was horrendous. Good intentions turned out all wrong. Hub had wanted to celebrate from Sat to actual day on Mon. I was mad that I had to rush to cook lunch on Sunday and all I had wanted was to rest, not fancy food or cake. He did order choc mint cake as I requested. But not from polar. He wanted a better bakery and yet it had not much ppm taste. I didn't like to cut the cake before actual day and Sunday is the busiest since lil C had two classes which made it not possible to have the cake for snack. She had to sleep early for school the next day. In the end, we had a big fight. He even threw the hot iron on the floor. Madness of course. In the end, I don't feel like taking pictures on the actual Monday. I also did not sleep well on the dreadful Sunday and went back to lie down till 10.30am after lil C went to school. This was the best part of the day!

16th: Decided to go for a walk at nearby park to make myself sweat. Walked too much from home to the park and back home too. My ankle bone was painful. Ended up had another fight with the hub when he misunderstood that I go to the market too. I was at a loss of words. He tried to talk to me nicely and we were good eventually. I was really tired of all the nonsense.

Eventually, my guess was right. Lil C will be going to 5 Care next year. As fate has seemed to arrange, she will be separated once again like before in P2 with her buddies. Iris, Jerica and even her newfound friend after changing seats, Xueyu will be going to 5D. She kept lamenting, so sad.. The only friend going to same class with her is Lakshana although she had her fair share of issues with her. Alrbough Yanwen and Irisse Ong will still be in the same class, Lil C is not close to them 😔.. But thankfully Wenbin is also going to 5 Care. And I found out that Jiayan, her buddy from 2 Grace, will reunite with her. I hope after 2 years, they can be friends again. 🙏

We celebrated mum's birthday at home on 20th. Had to do a video call with Pei as she served her SHN after return from Abu Dhabi.

The long awaited hols finally arrived officially on 22nd.
Lil C loves crowds while I don't. She especially likes mum to come over. On 28th, I suddenly realised its grandparents day and lil C immediately said she wants mum to come over. She came over and also bought my favourite popiah from Khatib. My comfort food after sitting in for her Math class. Bing then brought local food from Chong Pang. For dinner, we tried Chongqing grilled fish. I was not a fan of it though.

And finally lil C got to cycle again. Hub bought a foldable bike for her and finally guided her. It's been 2 years since she last cycled. After 45 mins, she could find her balance and cycle.

I tried to make salmon fried rice on 22nd as lil C is craving for pepper lunch but they don't do delivery now. It was a hit and she kept requesting me to cook.

Looking forward to a great December.. 🤩

October, please be kind.

October - the exam season. Its always the month I wish it can zoom by and am so looking forward to the Nov school holidays, albeit the fact that the daunting P5 is near.

The month started with a new high of C19 cases in SG. Anxiety and worry building up constantly.

I am thankful that lil C is getting the hang of memorising the weekly dictation from HC and remembering the 好词好句。She even drew cute pictures to help herself remember the meanings. Her compo also improved week by week..

While we were guessing if HBL would be extended and if exams would be postponed, the minister announced that he would wait till after the PSLE for updates.

5th: There was a positive case at blk 526. 😣.. Then a few more after that during this month

7th: I was so frantic when having to explain Science and to cook lunch and ended up screaming at lil C and pinched her. I was a guilty yet stressed up mum 🥺😩... Then came the big news ever.. Exams were cancelled! Unbelievable... I talked about it just a few days ago with friends and had deemed it not possible in SG... I had to admit it took away the stress and rush for revision. And for lil C, she even exclaimed her wish had came true. Who likes exam right?! Then came the questions on whether the compo papers will continue since Oral had been tested, if the school will replace the exam with WA (apparently some schools announced that), how they will calculate the final grade, if Oral marks will be counted etc... Countless??? But no updates from the school. Till end of the month, still no updates at all. 🙄

HBL ended after 2 weeks and she returned to school on 11th. She dislikes going back though as need to wake up early. And for me.. Had to prep her recess food for whole week. Tiring as I had to wake up at 5.15am.

Her Magic of Science experiment with Iris, the leakproof bag was selected as the top 5 for her class and they had to do a video on it. It was frustrating at first since there seemed to be no way they can do the video together. I even went to research on video edit and asked Iris to video her part and send over. But she could not and she was not familiar with the piercing of pencils into the ziploc bag. It was my idea in the first place. 🤷‍♀️.. Thankfully their teacher agreed to take the video for them. But poor lil C had to bring so many things to school, even a portable pail on 15th. In the end after waiting for her after school to shoot the video, Mrs Lye told them the explanation had to be proper one, as stated in Google. Wasted time and effort...she was so relieved when finally the video was successfully taken on 25th. Although theirs eventually was not the popular one amongst her classmates, she kinda expected and was actually happy.. Right from the start, she didn't want be selected as she was afraid to speak in front of others.

This year, PSLE marking days are of course not as busy as last year. With the exams cancelled, I still let her do papers but at a slower pace. But it was also an agonising week as she had to start the Social Studies project with Iris and Lakshana. I had to help her to do research and the worksheet requirements was not easy for them. But the teammates did not look at the link and even so that Lak wanted to have a zoom session and wasted so much time without even deciding on a place or street named after an early settler in SG. She did not want to consider other's opinions. Maddening..
I made salmon fried rice on 18th, trying to replicate Pepper Lunch which she wishes to eat.. She likes it and request for next week's recess.

27th to 29th: lil C suddenly had issues with friends again and cried. Lak went around to partner the BFFs of others.

Roblox is down on 29th to 31st and lil C was so disappointed as she had waited a week to play. Haha.. At first she was lamenting and kept checking if its up and ready. Then on 31st she just accepted it.

Jap curry is really her favourite. I cooked thrice this month upon her request. And I made pizza using the leftover pasta sauce and pizza crust with lots of green Capsicum, tomatoes, ham and mozzarella. We love it.. But I had to control not to eat too much. To sum it up, I made onigarazu, rice with nuggets and broccoli, pasta, fried bee hoon and salmon fried rice for her recess..

31st was my lunar birthday and I had forgotten all about it till Pei and mum mentioned it at night. Well, no noodles for me. And the hub as usual never remember it. I was upset but kept telling myself it's okay, it's okay. Let it go...

30th.. went to Causeway point on my own on a Saturday to use lil C's Popular bookstore vouchers to buy her Candy gem comics. And bought Laneige.. First try, the perfect renew series. How time flies. The vouchers were awarded to her last year for being top 3 and bilingual. Hope she can achieve again. 😉

Overall, its an unprecedented month. Just hope SG can recover, open up the country more, can bring lil C out next month and Dec. 🤞🙏

September.. an important month as always

September, means celebrating birthdays of MIL and hub and of course the not so school holiday alike but still a well deserved break and being looked forward by lil C.

As always, the month began with teachers' day celebration and no school day. Chanced upon Mint Home and ordered personalised wooden coasters for the teachers. Mr Firdaus expressed her appreciation to Clarisse while Mr Seah said it was beautiful.

I was immensely mad with her when she did not respond to me as usual and watched Tik Tok on her tablet right after she showered. I threw into a huge fit and confiscated the tablet. Told her no tablet till school holidays in November. She obliged, not defying. 🙏

The only difference for this year's Sept hol was lil C needed to do more SLS homework, even recorder test. Sigh.. We took 3 hours to complete the recorder recording. It was maddening.. I also signed her up for Heat masterclass with Pique Lab and she had to attend 3 hours extra class on two days with A+cer for Math. Besides that, also tried to do revision with her. Of course, she played Roblox and watched YouTube.
Thankfully the efforts did not go to waste. She did well and had excellent comments from Mr Seah.

15th: had to do the ART test.. As we waited for the results, we were so nervous 😅🙏

21st: mid Autumn and we went to mum's place as usual.. Most of hotels snowskin mooncakes were sold out as its the first time they had to do deliver, no booths this year.

22nd: Oral again.. This time ended at 4.15pm and I had to rush from home to school to fetch her.

We had a quiet birthday celebration for hub. I replaced cake with ice-cream cookies and Kenny Rogers for dinner. Also I had a scare when 4 Kindness had a positive case. Yet no letter from the school. We had to hear it from other mums and children.

As SG opened up slowly, trouble immediately brewed. The cases soared unexpectedly and the govt decision of living with the V is outrageous. They made the decision on 18th that HBL again for 10 days, starting on 27th. Again, my morning me time is gone. Also, my daily yoga rituals will be affected. 😭.. And I really dislike hub working from home. I really love time for myself. As I remind myself I have to stay sane, I couldn't. It was maddening since I had to do exam revision with lil C. I even had a bout of migraines and even lasted one entire day. Also she had live zoom lessons for the first time. She was super duper excited to see her classmates.

24th: last day of school before HBL. Told her not to go to canteen and I prepared rice, broccoli with tomatoes and fish bites for her.

29th: the lil gal wanted to join me in yoga and she did a pretty camel pose.. I was inspired and managed to do it too. 😅

Lil C started to fall in love with Mysteries after reading one book from Pei.. She then asked hub to buy.. Surprised us for a change of genre.

The month zoomed by with stress, worry and anxiety... Our cases crossed 2K..very bad timing with year end exams coming... Arghh..

Wishing for just peace and health for all... 😇

March on..on..on..

March came finally. For once, I did wish for it to come fast. Why? I am tired of the weekly swimsafer, hates the tanned uneven skin for lil C and most importantly I am looking forward to the one week term break. For past years, I am indifferent. But this year, the pace is very fast and without proper revision, lil C has a lot to catch up.

Although there are no tests for her school, she had sudden practice paper aka test with no weighted assessment. When she told me she scored 40.5 over 50 for Science, I was calm. I was more worried for the gaps than marks. As for English, she got 48 over 50. No praises this year though, even 49.5 was deemed as not good by Ms Kaur. My sensible lil C commented that this year is a higher level than last so expectations also higher..😅

2nd: Went for scalp treatment and for the first time my scalp is dry and flaky. Glad that Gin is very detailed when she scanned my scalp and Jiaqi was my assigned therapist. Love her strength..

5th: For the first time she was so frustrated after school. On a Friday! That's because she had homework for three subjects. Haiz...

7th: First lesson at A+cer Math. She was elated when she had Himalayan salt candy and Wang Wang. One mum bought peanut pancakes and thankfully she didn't eat. Hopefully she can continue enjoy the lessons.

As for me, I experienced dizziness and the dull ache connects from right throat side to scalp. I knew it must be heatiness. Lavender and copaiba helped. The lime cooling water helped too. 🙏

It's either haze or something in the air, as usual, that triggered lil C's sneezing fits in school. On days like that, I gave her zyrtec, oiled T3, ER and lavender.

Swimsafer finally ended on 11th and the assessment went well. And yes she passed. She said she cannot believe she can swim without the board during the program. Peer pressure really helps. Although the program did not teach them breaststroke as indicated in the form, she indeed had fun.

The school holidays wheezed by before knowing. We asked mum along to HDL on Sunday since it's the Eve of schools hols. The service was impeccable.
As usual, lil C is always hungry during school hols. Haha.. On Monday evening, we went back to GT for their 30th anniversary video shoot. Lil C was initially nervous but it was done in one take. She reminisced the old days and there are roosters now in the school. We even went to their new school at Sembawang to visit Teacher Kai Tee. She even remembered lil C and even her name.

We ate at her favourite restaurants, had ice cream and had her eyesight checked after two years. She was so excited over her new glasses. Both of us had same taste..Chose the same one. Her astigmatism did not improve, also did not deteriorate. However, her left eye is a little blurish when she read the alphabets and the optometrist had to add a lense to correct it. As he didn't want her to rely too much on left eye and worsen it, he preferred to correct it. And so, her left eye had a minus 0.25 reading.

During this March break, she had quite a tad much homework as compared to previous years. She even had to draw still life and paint it using warm and cool blue for Art. We tried to do some revision and I also taught her Fractions mixed numbers conversation and multiplication.

As what she mentioned that Mr F had briefly said about Oral and Compo, it was indeed that there will be these two components for SA1. It's very rushed with insufficient practice as compared to last year. Thankfully I bought the Oral assessment books online during last Dec. Just have to practise as much as we can. 🙏🙌

Lil C is still as helpful in class. She helped her classmates when they had nosebleed. Gave tissue papers immediately.

After 5 relief teachers, she was immensely elated when Mdm Lau came back. She promised there will be no changes till end of year anymore. 🙏

25th: Swimming lesson with new coach Rachael finally started, abeilt the slight drizzle. Lil C likes her.. hope all will continue to be good.

Puberty definitely sets in, unexpectedly early. She is having growth spurt, constantly hungry coupled with larger sweat glands. My lil girl is about to embark on her next journey, physical changes especially. As for me, I need to be around for her to help her to prepare mentally and resolve issues. Something that my mum did not do.
Oh how I miss the sweet smelling lil baby days...

The next month challenges - prepare for SA1, oral and keeping sane. 💪

Then the second month came...

As the month started, it's the prep for CNY. It's a hassle. I have to remember things to buy for the house, endless new attires and towels to wash and even new hand towels and floor mats. In the midst of prep, I still have to follow my daily routine. And I have a new role, the mealworms caregiver. 😣
It's also an learning opportunity for me. When the mealworms that the school gave died, I had to give in to let the new ones stay indoors. I felt bad that they died and afraid that lil C could not monitor their transformation cycle and draw them in the workbook. Hence, I googled to find where I could buy and hub told me that he found a shop that sells it. Eventually we witnessed the growth to pupa and to the beetle stages. I was elated too. Lil C was eagerly showing to everyone who comes to our house during CNY.

After a hiatus of last year CNY celebration and praying to ti gong due to FIL's passing, this year was a mayhem when we have cousins and families coming over for visits. Unplanned. However, I did not have my usual neck and shoulder aches. I guess, the lymphatic massage on 9th and yoga helped a lot. My almost daily oiling of distress EO combi definitely helps. I was also forgiving to MIL, ah mah and dad. 😄😬
I made peach gum Cheng teng this CNY and it's the best of the few times I cooked. Not too sweet or bland.  Fifteen days passed by very fast and mum asked us to go over to her place on 15th for 元宵.

Every week after CCA, I would hear the same complain from lil C. She envies the modern jazz group able to dance Kpop, Dynamite. She dislikes the long hours in school. But she was able to do back bends with the help of teacher. I know it's tiring and to do something she doesn't like makes it worse. I had to resort to comparing the two dance genres. Told her that Chinese dance helps her to have a slim and flexible body in future whereas Modern dance doesn't really help with flexibility and they are more vigorous, even have to do pumping. Just hope that she can find a little fun in it soon..

As advised by Angeline, I went for a vaginal scan during CNY period. Thankfully, Dr Claudia Chi all look good. I also endured and did a pap smear. Havent done it for more than 10 years! Waiting for results via email. 🙏

Feeling the pressure for schoolwork as lil C did not know how to do multiples prob sums and even got confused over factors and multiples. This Mr F told them from now onwards he wants full marks for the pop quizzes and band 1 for the year end exam. How easy to say that when he can not teach them well. Education doesn't seem to change much,; teachers doesn't always teach and explain well and questions just appeared in the workbook as homework. Hence, the child would be able to do it if he or she has tuition or someone in the family can teach. I hope I can guide her as much as I can.

Swimsafer lessons resume after CNY. It continues to make lil C face dry and tanned. And her two tone colour legs. Haiz..It's so
obvious.

A short month though I feel it's slow. Looking forward to the one week break so much this year.

The beginning.. 💪🏼🌈

Hello 2️⃣0️⃣2️⃣1️⃣🎉✨🎈

1st January, our lil family of 3 did not spend it all by ourselves this year. Mum, RB, Pei and family came over for dinner. I dislike crowd and gatherings but had no choice. They left at around 11pm after MJ and lil C slept at midnight! Her first and she was excited. 😆

2nd: No enrichment yet. She slept till 10.30am while hub U till 12 noon! The weather was perfect for sleep in! Initial plan of eating out for dinner abandoned, we stayed at home for rest of day. Lil C did some Math exam papers. It was a smooth day until lil C accidentally knocked onto me while I was bringing the soup to her. Hub was so agitated whilst I kept my cool. Worried, I intensively spraying the lavaderm on her arm. There was a huge red patch. Frank and Lavender to the rescue too. Thankfully, the red patch was totally gone in an hour. Unbelievable but I was really grateful to YL products.

3rd: Glad that first lesson in Skylace went well. 张老师 praised lil C for her 👍🏼 daily reading. Our plans for Shabu Sai was affected again when cousin YZ called and invited us for dinner with them. It's been nearly a year since we saw aunt and kaiye. The food at Orchard Live was mediocre and hub had gout attack on his elbow after that. Lil Harper was totally different from Lil C when she was at her age. I am definitely counting my blessings that I do not have such a strong headed daughter. Lil C has always been warm and friendly to everyone since young and allowed relatives to carry her, hold her hands and play with her. 🙌

4th Monday: It made history when school is not reopened for the P2s to P6s. Lil C was so happy to have one more day of school holidays. We stayed at home and were all set for the next day.

Week 1
Day 1 went well although she was feeling nonchalant since all her subject teachers remain the same. Of course, it doesn't excite her when Mr F is still the form teacher. She still sits in the first row but a different seat. She was also appointed the Math rep.

6th: Praised by Mdm Maslinda that despite her good results she is humble. 💖.. So proud of her to be praised by the year head to the entire P4. Humility is the school value chosen by her when she was nominated for the ECHA award last year. It happens that it's the direction for P4s this year, confident yet humble.

Prepared her food for recess on 8th after two years hiatus, upon lil C's request. Sadly, the food was not warm anymore. She is so used of eating warm food.

The first week of the new term went by quickly and lil C commented it's boring on Friday, basically sit all day for lessons. Hope she can get used to the new timetable asap!

As predicted by the weatherman, it was a rainy weekend of 9th and 10th. In fact, the entire two days. Ended up having dinner at the new food court at SCC when the queue was long at Shi Li Fang on Saturday after TWC. No longer Ms Yong, Ms Rosita for now. After three years of sweet, young and gentle teachers, she will have a matured, no nonsense teacher. And the first thing she learned was not to say 'I'm done! It's really great teaching, none of the teachers corrected them before. I only wish that she can enjoy the lessons and have a fruitful, smooth year at TWC.

Second week zoomed by as CCA started and swimsafer for her class also commenced. I became the sole PV but it allowed me to ensure she is okay. She enjoyed the first lesson with friends and hopefully all would be well. Unexpectedly, she had her first tan line on her thighs after the swim lesson under the scorching sun. 😣

20th: Told me a P1 Indian gal snatched her money during recess when she fell.for the gal's trick that she wants to borrow money to buy mee Soto too. In the end, we didn't bring it up again when she didn't manage to get the money back the next day. 不了了之。

24th: Showed lil C my P4 class photo. Felt so nostalgic.. 😉

I made a resolution for this year, to sleep by 12 and definitely try by 11 plus on weekday nights. Also no watching of dramas before bed. 😴

Yoga started well and I was glad that I learned a few moves that help me relax and sleep!

Thursdays continue to tire me out as I volunteered for swimsafer program.

29th: Hub took leave to change the curtains for the living room. Our bedrooms curtains were changed two weeks ago. So grateful that I didn't have to do it this year!
Lil C was elated as she could take the car home after school. When we fetched her, she told us she was the only one who got full marks for her comprehension.

One step at a time, starting puberty 😅.. Breast buds developed bigger and she had to wear XL size bra when the year started. And tonight, I decided to demo using la Roche cleanser and lil C was so excited about it.

30th: I feel I have to let her use face moisturizer and went to Guardians to buy one gentle kind from La Roche. With the swimming lessons, need to start her skincare routine early. 😏
Additional task...

Goodbye Jan, as always. Hello and Bye to the first month... Hello to the busy short month...

Dreaded December

December, for the consecutive third year, was tiring although I get more sleep. This year, we could not go for holidays and our 12th wedding anniversary was just an ordinary affair. We had squabbles before the day and I just don't feel happy. 5th falls on a Saturday and yet we didn't really make much effort. It's also the first year I admittedly did not want to deliberately hunt for heart shaped cakes or plan anything. The hub made a reservation on 4th for dinner at Oscar's. The food was not child friendly to begin with and taste wise was not as good as before. We had coffee while waiting for lil C to finish MQ class and honestly didn't have much to chat about, only that the Ya Kun coffee was good. On exact day, which finally falls on a weekend this year, we didn't do anything as lil C has TWC zoom. Hub ordered Burger and Lobster and 12 Cupcakes for lunch.

Skylace Chinese holiday program 30th Nov to 3rd Dec. The teacher sang praises of lil C and it was all good.

6th: Met Serene and Grace for high tea at the Fullerton Bay Hotel. I didn't really enjoy the gathering, just merely had to meet up to pass the presents to them and children.

Pei and the boys came over on 7th for Jap steamboat dinner. The sky was all dark in the late afternoon and we could not go to the Admiralty playground. We also had the frozen Kam Long fish head curry that hub's colleague gave.

8th: We met up with Shemane and the boys. I looked so fat besides her! I did not want to post our pics on IG this year!

10th: We went for Mac breakfast before going to the school to collect books. Let her try the seaweed fries for an experience after Ms Young asked them to try. It was yummy! 😋 When I saw the stall selling uniforms, I was so elated. However I did not have enough cash and mum was not at home. I could not borrow money from her. We had to take bus 800 to Chong Pang to withdraw cash then went back to the school. Lesson learned. 😅

We had steamboat a few times at HDL and once at Shi Li Fang. The most number of times this school holiday. 😆

22nd: Met up with Gwendolyn. Surprisingly, lil C enjoyed longkang fishing. They played on trampoline thereafter. We went to Sushi Tei for lunch. I dread the meet up as always as I dislike her princessy behaviour.

23rd: We went for PHS for lil C's haircut and met up with hub at Marche 313 for dinner. We love the stir fried vegetables the most!

Dreaded Xmas Eve as we had to go to MIL's house. Hated to entertain her and her sister and cousin 🙄

On Xmas Day, we set out earlier this year to pray Confucius. Lil C has really grown up. She had told me the night before that she wants to sleep and won't wake up very early to open presents which indeed happened. 長大了!But she still opened up her presents excitedly. It's special this year as I had bidded a soft toy alike for her to hug while watching TV. I love it when I saw it on Jolly Tots live and after a few tries managed to bid it and it's the last and only one available. She love it as much as me!

We went to Jewel for lunch and shopping before heading home early. Didn't want to walk too much as it would be a super long day tomorrow at USS. At Changi Experience Centre, lil C was more interested in the stationary bike than the smiling machine as compared to last year. Haha.. She was motivated after she had the highest score a few times.

Definitely a memorable experience at USS this year. First, hub could join since it was a Saturday. We went ourselves for the last three years. Next, there was a system glitch at the 4D transformers ride for 45 minutes. I knew hub hates queuing as he kept lamenting on booking for the fast access and private the next time. That influenced lil C. She also complained about the queuing when she gamely queued for the past years. 🙄. As I was worried about hub, I asked lil C to take the canopy flyer ride with him since it was his first. In the end, lil C was scared and started tearing. She wasn't like that. We had taken that twice. Haha. Mothers definitely provide the security that Daddies cannot provide. 😁
Lastly, it began to rain around late afternoon..Gosh! Hub really brings the rain whenever we go to theme park. Haha.. it was also raining when we were at HK Disneyland.

As we bade adieus to 2020 quietly, no cake from hub this year, I am not looking much forward to the new year. Goodbye 2020.

November finally

2nd to 5th: The exams came and gone, just like that in four days. Relief washed all over me! I literally felt a heavy weight lifted off my chest and shoulders. Gosh! To give lil C support and to ensure she reaches school safely, I went with them. On 2nd, the door to the basement carpark suddenly could not open. Lil C called out softly, “Mummy..“ I kept my cool and told her it's alright. She felt at ease immediately while we took the lift to first floor and walked down the stairs to the basement carpark. 🙏😅

Contrary to the norm of worrying if your child can do well in the exams, I worry more about her state of mind, immunity, health and pray that she will 顺利complete all papers on time. Thankfully all goes well..

5th: Interview with the year heads for the ECHA character award nomination. She said 天宫保佑 before the zoom interview. Haha! This girl.. Luckily she had Jayden (her ex classmate) with her at the same timeslot. They chat alot while waiting for their turns. Jayden also prayed, haha.. Initially I thought the interview was cancelled since the video will be shown to the management. Apparently she had to do both. My brave lil C!! In the afternoon, Mr F informed me that her voice was muffled and did not look natural as she was mainly reading the script. Hence, she had to redo on 6th during the silent reading session. So I taught her to look front for the intro and other parts.
After the Science paper, she took back her Math. I was surprised over her marks as she was so confident over her Section A and B. At first she was still satisfied as Mr F told her it's still a Band 1. My reaction was unexpected for her and after hearing how I lament on accumulation of marks lost, she was a tad sad. But she understood what I meant..

6th: Received email in the morning that Han is closing down and being brought over by Aspire Education. It's a surprise but also meant that the decision to change school is inevitable. While waiting to fetch her after school with hub, I was looking forward to her English compo marks. I don't know why I wasn't anxious of the rest. Weird.. A huge huge surprise then came when she rushed out and told me her results. Many components for English and Chinese. I said okay when she told me she got 18 over 20 for her English compo. She got 49 over 50 for the main paper. As she told me she got 29 over 30 for her Chinese oral and 12.5 over 15 for her Chinese compo, I was overjoyed! The unexpected happened! Very blessed... She kept saying unbelievable! Her listening for Chinese got full marks. Overall she did exceptionally well for both languages. 🎊

As usual, she cannot avoid carelessness for Math and Science.

It's also a memorable day for me as it has been nearly a year since I can have time for myself after sending her for enrichment. Ms Young has invited zoom classes students to attend physical class for the rest of the year. Sitting in Mac, enjoying Hershey chocolate sundae, I couldn't help but to feel wow.. I really need the time for myself, without the hub 😅. He was working at home and thereafter we went to HDL for dinner and he said to celebrate.

The next two Fridays are especially exciting when Mr F announced the top 5 and top level positions on 13th and the actual prize award day was held on 20th. Lil C was surprised she was awarded 3rd in class. I had expected it though 😎. But I did not expect she was awarded 6th in level. 😘.  So proud of her! I knew she had a good chance of getting but sadly we cannot attend the ceremony due to C19. She was awarded the bilingualism award which I am most happy of. Being bilingual is so important and I am glad she takes after me. 😙 Hopefully it can continue...

She has also matured till can be 和事佬 for us 😅.. She would even speak for Daddy, put in good words for him.

As for my birthday, I requested for me time to colour my hair. Finally I can go after the exams...Get rid of the annoying grey hair. It was also the last lesson of Han. I didn't want to have dinner at Lingzhi and hence hub canceled the reservation. My lunch was only bread and bit of the cupcakes he ordered. Strangely, I was not hungry when I came home at late afternoon. We had Ban Heng and hub had ordered a rich chocolate cake. I didn't look forward to my 41st whilst lil C had been counting down for me.😅

We finally received more guests on 20th, last day of school and to celebrate mum's birthday. It was quite a mayhem for me and my shoulders was aching. The cutie Seth decided to stay overnight. First time for us! Lil C was super duper excited and didn't mind being kicked the entire night. She reminisced about it the next day. I was nervous at first having to help Seth wear diapers but eventually did it right. I was also nervous but luckily able to sleep and had a good morning playing with Seth.

Had signed up Math Heuristics P4 bridging 3 day course and learned how to solve different types of P4 problem sums on 24th to 26th.

Went to Lil Twin Stars cafe on 25th and thankfully the food was alright. Lil C was elated. We then walked to the train station and took train to Woodlands because she wants to go to Popular bookstore and we had to help hub to buy underwear. Metro is the best place.

I tried ba zhen soup on 28th, bidded from Rachelbelle and it was good. But my body feels so warm and I couldn't sleep at night. Thereafter, my insomnia continued for days. It actually started on 26th all of a sudden. Must be the crazy hormones.

Busy December ahead.. goodbye November, see you in a year.

October ~ stay calm month

October came too soon too fast...A month of revision, revision and revision. Exams soon....

1st: Mid-Autumn. The first year that I didn't really crave for mooncakes. In fact, I found them too sweet. Sign of getting on years.. As usual we went to mum's house, but this year we went there straight after school as I was worried about the erratic weather.

It's been 9 months since lil C played with the boys and she has been looking forward to it. Looking at the pictures, they reminded me how fast they have grown up. 😍
Mr Firdaus told lil C she is the best pupil of her class. 🙏.. Elated but he seems to be mistaken that Clarisse is very bright and when she has errors is due to carelessness.

Going out to dine has became a rare activity for us. On Sunday, 4th, after so much consideration and partly wanting to make lil C happy while not having to think of what to have for dinner, I decided to go to Shabu Sai at North point. Hub had seen it on Saturday when we went there after dropping lil C off for TWC. Lil C was so cheery.

Anxiety built up as I worry about not enough time for revision although I know I must not be so upright. I am ever stressful when I have to cook and help her with homework. Time always passes too fast during weekdays. Arghhh..

8th: She has been looking forward to this day - presents from teachers. Lil C suddenly fell down in the living room. From last month, she has been falling down in school and now even at home. Bruises on the legs but this time round she kept saying her feet is painful. 😥

Impromptu dinner at HDL on Children's Day, 9th. She didn't seem too excited about dinner but rather wanting to buy a book. Eventually, she found a Enid Blyton book and it's like her prized possession over the weekend.

Had to miss PE on 12th.
It hurts me to blog this down, although I knew and I taught lil C to learn from failures. I just hope that she can complete the compositions in time during exams.

13th, 14th: Mock paper for Math. She took back the paper on 23th and although I was shocked over her marks, I also learned that workings are given marks in Section B after checking with Mr F.

19th to 22nd: PSLE marking days and no school. She has to complete another Math mock paper, English and Chinese mock papers. So much to do and did revision. How I miss last year...

26th and 27th: 捏了一把冷汗..Finally the composition exam is over. Thankful that she was able to finish the 作文 in time. She also had a lot of gem stamps, highest in class.

Bought lavender with negative ions foot patch from Rachel Belle and started using on Mon, 26th. Hope can sleep better and reduce fluid retention!

Hasn't been sleeping enough this month, even on weekends when lil C barged in and I was jerked up and also when the hub suddenly snored at 6am and woke me up.

I was particularly worried when she did badly for her 理解问答 worksheet. Although I taught her to find clues from the passage, I might not always be correct as it is not the answer the teacher is looking for. Han didn't seem to help her much and hence I wanted to source for others. Hub and I went to 天磊 and we like the environment. On 30th, I decided to sign her up for their holiday class so that she can have fun while learning.

Feeling the jitters while trying to keep calm during the last weekend, also before the exam starts. Not so much about the results but in hope she can go take the exams. 顺顺利利🙏

30th: Lil C was officially selected as the nominee for ECHA award for her class. Mr F asked me to guide her to write a script for a video. I had to quickly do the write up in the afternoon. So much work for just the nomination.

Unlike last year, I am looking forward to November, only because I am tired with the revision, can't wait for exams to be over!

July came fast

One of my favorites, came fast without realising..

The month begins with positive news from school.. 🙏
1st: Lil C became the monitoress for Chinese. She got chosen amongst a few who raised up their hands.
She became friends with Irisse and she was delighted.

2nd: She was one of those who was praised by Mr Firdaus for being obedient till Term 3.
3rd: Ms Kaur let lil C to be the first to leave the class after school as she was the best pupil
😍.. At home, she showed me she had a neat work, well organized, well done comment from Mr Firdaus for her Math worksheet. He praised that she had the nearest work in class. 🌻.

Lil C went back to EI Math on 4th and thankfully she breezed through it, although there were tough questions and the lesson took longer.

😷😷 in the school has become a new norm, however, absolutely not preferred for primary school students as there is no air conditioning. I really pity them. With many days off and the special one week holiday this month, lil C was elated. She is also looking so much forward to her 9th birthday.

7th: She had neat work comments for four Math worksheets and teacher openly showed her paper and praised her in class. She said she was embarrassed as he had too proudly shown hers. Ms Kaur chose her to be the best pupil again and she can go for early recess.

Feeling amused by her classmate, Future's questions on hub as he went back to work and could not fetch lil C after school, I was still glad that she found another classmate in this new P3 class. She cutely told me she thinks he has a crush on her, always talking to her. 🙊

As for myself, I was thrilled that I finally was able to get my hair colour and eyebrow embroidery touch up done on two consecutive Sundays.

8th: Chanced upon YL leader's sharing on Feelings kit. Finally I understood the entire protocol and wrote them down. I used valor and harmony for the night and I slept deeply for the first time. Finally opened my precious harmony..

12th: I suggested to go to Sheng Shiong together after collecting thieves handsoap refill from Grace. Lil C immediately replied okay! It has been months since she went to the supermarket with us. It's also the first time that the three of us go out to buy things together. She happily asked if I need this and that. She also volunteered to carry the heavy bags. We even had our dinner settled with her help! She chanced upon 刀削面 at SS and hub bought 3. When the restaurant was very crowded with limited soup menu, hub suggested 刀削面 and lil C agreed. She then told me secretly to agree to eat that so that Daddy won't be angry..

13th: I was shocked to hear her Magnets worksheet score, 20 over 30.. this is definitely her lowest score since P1 for any worksheet or test or exam. I was flustered but thankfully overcame it very fast. Most prob the good day protocol blend helped me. Lil C told me the highest score is 23. Many of her classmates even failed. I checked with Charmaine's mom and they are the same issue. Gosh! The Science teachers must have done a horrible job in trying to make them understand. I was glad that at least lil C did not fail.

Elated, lil C has been giving me kisses. She isn't a child who is very generous with affections so it caught me by surprise. She wanted to make me happy by doing it. 💕

18th: MIL came over. Last saw her during September last year. I was anxious, definitely nerve wracking. I did not forgive her when she caused a din last year and yet still had to face her. I even had to keep the house as neat as possible to avoid her gossiping at my back. The hub just kept playing games and left me to face her and talk for 2 hours. I had to listen to her Christianity stories and all her boasts. She even signalled to me to let bygones be bygones..What the H 😣

We had a simple celebration for her 9th birthday. She likes the unicorn cake from BobtheBaker and thankfully we all love the strawberry flavour. This year, we bought her books and Pei also bought a series of Enid Blyton. We went to HDL again for her birthday dinner (third time). She loves HDL and had requested to go there for her 7th and 8th birthdays. This time I managed to make an online reservation at their Seletar Mall outlet even before she requested 💖..

Feeling worried and stressed over her upcoming test and exams, I seem to influence her. I tried my best no to but it's not easy. 😅..

This month also means a lot to me when lil C suddenly take food for me during our meals. 😍

Lil C cutely asked us to vote for LHL.. she thought that he is the representative of PAP. Haha..

It's also a first when there is a mid term break one week holiday. We only went out of the house on Tues to return the long overdue library book and collect the ndp funpack. It was such a hot day that lil C commented that she prefers to stay at home. She can really be a homely person for now. As usual, she watched a lot of YouTube, played games and did revision.

Although she is an only child, we did not raise her as one who is spoilt or always have her way. Thankfully her personality is 'tame' kind. She doesn't stay angry for long and always smiling.

A tad disappointed over not getting Star Jieminite this month, I am so thankful that she managed to change the false opinions that the teachers had on her and had good comments.

Had a surprise when lil C was the only one not doing GEP in her class! Mr Fridays kept asking her about it, encouraging her to take. I had to explain and educate lil C why we would just want her to go through the current curriculum and not the stressful GEP. And also the definition of gifted. The intention of the program is definitely not leaving the school for top schools as her classmates were discussing on this. The form teacher has definitely sent a wrong message across..

30th: Lil C cooked chicken stew for the first time and she loves it!

31st: As it's a PH, we went out for dinner. These days it's extremely rare that we get to dine outside. The food at Sushi Teh tasted so good, so much better than via delivery abeilt the long wait.

As we bid goodbye to one of my favourite months, I am hoping for a smooth smooth August 💪💪😘.

June - continue to be different..

No longer known as the June holidays this year and have to return to school was definitely something to remember for in Singapore education history.

Prior to returning to school, we brought lil C to PHS for haircut on 4th. Finally we were out of the house after 2 months! Unbelievable... Lawrence cut her hair really short and I had to only tie two pony tails for her to school.

At home on 7th, hub gave me a surprise by cooking lunch for me on a Sunday while I was having Han lessons with lil C. It was simple noodle soup, made with 💖.

Lil C adjusted to the first week of HBL and second week of school well. She was praised for her English comprehension annotation and her attitude. Her Chinese compo was also selected by teacher to show it to the class.

The last HBL was not as stressful and was a breeze as compared to before. The hardest were the dance and recorder playing of Ode to Joy. Lil C was very shy but the dance video recording was not optional this round. She was even tearing a little and not smiling while doing the dance. It was finally done and upon her request to do it the third time before submission. Valor probably worked to give her the confidence. With her sensitive airways, recorder playing makes her breathless and the numerous practice is not an easy feat. She was disciplined enough and practised playing from Monday till Sunday and we finally submitted her best! 🙏
She got 8.5 and commended by teacher via SLS. Hard work paid off!

School finally resumed with normalcy and routine back in place although there is alternate week of home based learning. I had to wake up very early and it kinda helped me sleep easily at night. Entirely different from May. But insomnia still happens especially on Sundays when there is school the next day.

For Father's Day, I ordered cake from Mayee. To our surprise, the texture was light and the honey yuzu Nata de coco flavour was good. As I was vegetarian, I tried the French bean set from Kemono. Hub likes the chicken.

Amused by Mr Firdaus numerous praises that lil C had improved, I told hub and lil C it's still better than getting scolding. On 22nd, received his call on feedback as we had missed the PTM in May. Thankfully, lil C showed to the teachers that their initial impression of her were all wrong! All teachers commented that lil C concentrates in class, submits work on time. Mr Fidaus commended her for her neat model drawings too. Even said he is proud of her. 🙏.. The only thing I felt bad is she is always focused yet now is commented as improved alot from Term 1.

The new assessment weight age is scary with 75% for end of year. I am deeply worried but still have to stay sane.

With the impending elections, the govt announced all of a sudden that business can be resumed, like services, eating in food courts, kpt, restaurants. Even the enrichment centres can reopen from 19th. It came as a surprise since many assume that it will most prob be in July.

Also received a piece of news - Ms Yong will submit lil C's work for publishing consideration. She wrote really well after the second draft.

After washing the balconies and bathrooms for 2 months plus, I was so glad that the cleaning service resumed on 24th!

Hub decided to play Roblox, Adopt Me too and she played with lil C side by side first time on 27th. It's heartwarming to see their bond forming closer once more although it's all because of gaming.

As the month was ending, the online classes were ending too. Lil C is sad as she likes the online classes but only look forward to go back to centre for Write Connection.

Looking forward to a smooth July..💐

Hey March!

With the leap year, March started a day late.

Somehow I look forward to weekends this year. With lil C facing challenges in school, it makes me worry during school days. A good form teacher at least makes a child look forward to school and thus puts the parents at ease. She had been very fortunate to meet a young and passionate teacher for two years. Although she had a rough first year with classmates, she had her best in the second. It's stunning different this year. As I waved hello to Ms Lim on some Thursdays outside the gate, I wish I could tell her to talk to the Mr F.

2nd: Forgotten to oil white angelica. As I am writing here, I hope all will be good for lil C without WA. Sigh...
Made the focus oil blend and today is the first school day that I tried on her. 🙏
The week went well it ended on Friday with her happily telling me that she was the best pupil in Math and earned 3 gem stamps from Mr F. That's because she folded her arms and looked in front. What an army way! He even commented she can focus better now when he just told her on Wednesday that she is not careless but need to listen more 🤷. I was glad that she got her speed test and pop quizzes all correct. Hopefully she can continue and he won't comment her being careless again.

With Clara pulling out of the exam, I was worried that Clarisse will be nervous and afraid. I didn't tell her the truth with the withdrawal. But the teacher told her it might be due to the unintended scolding. We cannot comment on other parenting style although I empathise with Clara. Nevertheless, I do not want to send the wrong message to lil C that we can give up easily because of a mean teacher. Although the teacher gave her the choice of withdrawal on the day of exam, I told lil C the examiner had to fly to Singapore despite the risky C.V. 19 situation and the danger she could face in the plane. Like the teacher told her, in the blink of an eye, the exam will be over. It's just 8 mins. That's right.. for 6 months of coaching.
Hopefully all will be smooth... 🙏

The last coaching class on 9th went well although it's triing. Lil C had to run for five rounds around the field for PE. Madness!

She said she was tired after CCA, which was the first time. I was worried as she slept late on Monday after the coaching class and had to stay late in school a day after.

The D day finally arrived on 12th.. Hub took leave to support lil gal. We picked her up from school smoothly and went for shower and change into her exam attire at Mum's house. I forgot to oil Thieves and felt uneasy. She insisted not taking off her tights in the car to oil it. Time passed in a blink of eye.. the exam is over. She told me she did a step wrongly. The examiner said good gal. But she feels maybe she can only pass.. I told her it's alright. I am actually proud of her to be able to complete it as a single candidate.

Friday the 13th: sheer bad luck. Lil C was excited over swimming class until 3 pm in the afternoon. I had changed the class to Friday as she would be tired after the dance exam. When I fetched her from school, she told me her shoulder is painful from the heavy bag. She had three subject ring files in it. I quickly helped her carry. She was still enjoying her pasta till she felt the fatigue after shower and while doing her homework. I applied Valor on her shoulder at first and msg the swim coach. But I sensed something not good and took her temperature. She had mild fever and it became higher by evening. I had given her Chinese barley while.she had her lunch. Lil C requested to do epsom salts feet soak and I let her.

By the next morning, 5 plus, her temperature went up to 39.1. Gave her ibuprofen and I woke up an hour later to oil her. I was so thankful when her temperature dropped to 37.8 upon waking up. She was active and even happily went downstairs and told Daddy about it. Just as I thought it was breaking around noon and she was hoping not to miss TWC lesson, it went back up to 37.8. she had no other symptoms at all.

Decided to do intensive oiling on Sunday, 15th. It's tiring as I need to cook lunch in the midst of doing it. I alternate NLBS, GR, copaiba with Roman Chamomile, GR, copaiba. Oregano alternate with T3 for soles. Prob the heatiness came out and she had nose bleed. By 8pm, she felt tired and slept on sofa.

She had persistent nose bleed the next Monday and it finally stopped when I applied helichrysum on her nose bridge. It's definitely a fever caused by viral, heatiness definitely. Thankfully don't need to see doc...
Her appetite also returned fully and she managed to finish a whole pot of noodles. Her headache was gone when temperature dropped. Gave her lin yang too.

Her fever finally broke fully by Wed and she slept alot more on Tues night. We could step out of house for piano and Han Chinese replacement classes. She was also elated to buy her candy gem comic with her past year red packet money. Daddy amd I finally counted her CNY red packet money collected from 2017 till 2020. And daddy gave her 10% as shopping money. 😎. As for me, I was just glad that I could have kopi at Toastbox.

As I blogged all these, my heart is dampened with all the unexpected events. SG had more of CV19 cases and deaths and it's worrying each day lil C goes to school.

Despite all these bad news, lil C was doing better in school. She was given the best pupil of the day recognition by the form teacher on two occasions (although one classmate pointed out that she was awarded last term). She scored 49.5 over 50 for her impromptu mock English test and was praised by Ms Kaur. All subject teachers now recognise her neat handwriting. She always followed instructions and was praised by her science teacher.for highlighting the key points in the questions and getting full marks for the quiz. And she finally understands the concept of long division. Phew!
By being good, she was given early recess at several occasions too.

As for me, I was attacked by the sudden wind. My fingers joints suddenly felt painful on 23rd. Copaiba saved me so that I could continue to change bedsheets. The next day Mum fell down again. I bought lunch and went over to her place to pass copaiba to her.  She had difficulties to walk initially but EOs really helped her.
I had body aches and constant burping. It came and go. Even had to endure it when I went to Dorra on 26th. But after the shaping treatment, I felt better as it had detox effect. Eventually came back. I lost appetite and couldn't eat much. And my weight was 69.9kg for once. Short term happiness... Finally I was well after gavisvon. Hub went out to buy for me. Painful lesson for me, not too much bread. No bread for lunch and dinner. I had bloating and my stomach ballooned..

At home, my lil C shows her sweet nature. She will say things like "at least he helps" when I commented I had to still iron her uniform although I am tired. Daddy only can iron his own clothes. Hub and I had a big fight and unfortunately it's was in front of her. She wasn't affected and I was thankful to her bubbly self. Very quickly, she got over it and told me she understood when I explained that I was very mad over Daddy throwing her schoolwork on the floor.

I knew I shouldn't complain. She is a wonderful daughter. I still love her loads, love to hug her and wonder how fast she has grown. I pray for her to be healthy and happy always. 平安喜乐 健健康康。

As MOE introduced home based learning suddenly for every Wednesday on 27th, I must admit I had mixed feelings. I always have sleeping issues and a day in a week of being able to wake up late would potentially disturb my sleeping pattern for the week. But at least lil C will be safe at home. Let's just see how it goes.

The first TWC e lesson went well and it was definitely a good experience. I love that we can rewind and pause the lessons.

On 29th, we made corn onigiri for the first time and we love it. I also make the tamagoyaki.

On 31st, we had fun playing Google AR animals.

Thankfully I recovered before April and I finally can feel hungry again... 😘

First month of a new decade

Welcome 2020! 🤗
A beginning of a new decade✨

We started off the year with lunch at the new Funan mall. Hub still couldn't walk and shop for long and we went home by late afternoon.

My insomnia came back again, as expected. I am not nervous or excited 😆.. It's always a change of sleep timing, routine and hub's snoring that kept me awake, right before a new school term. However, I was so looking forward to know her form teacher since the school hasn't update their website.

With only 2 hours of sleep, I woke up on time on 2nd. Lil C was excited for the new year but she said she was afraid she would go to 3 Grace instead. How silly! 😂 Since it's the first day, I sent her to school too. How time flies.. it's her 3rd year in the school. I am confident she can adapt well in a new class!

My body was achy as usual if I had insufficient sleep. Gua sha on my neck always worked wonders and kept me going. The hours went by fast and soon it's time to fetch her from school. As accurate as my senses can be, her form teacher is a guy. Lil C told me he is funny and nice. Let's just see! 🙏 He has a special way of letting them to drink water, drink as a class at the same time and shout out '3 Care'.

This year she has different teachers for all subjects and she finds them strict except her form teacher, Mr Firdaus. She was appointed the group leader and English rep and I hope she can continue to enjoy school. I am keeping fingers crossed hoping she won't get into trouble or bad books of teachers this year. Definitely wish she can change her seat next term; not Paige and Nuon anymore! 🙏

As for TWC, the new teacher seems engaging whereas the Han Language new teacher is the soft spoken kind.

I hope I can really lose some fats and cellulite this year. Gonna make a difference to my body from this year onwards! 🙏 Went for my first bye bye fat treatment on 6th and can notice slight reduction of tummy fats. I know it's still a long way but let's just take a step as it comes 💪
Thankfully I can still afford the treatment sessions and the drinks. 🙆.

Hub and I went for Jay Chou's concert on 10th. I was quite worried that it will end very late and lil C needs to sleep. Eventually my idea went well, she slept on sofa for awhile and I woke her up when we reached home. Hub is definitely a bigger fan than me!

It's another hectic month with CNY and the new school year. Week 2 flew by with much more homework and leave lil C no time for revision after school. Her CCA also started on 14th and she has been adapting to the new long hours on Tuesday.

After a long 5 years, I finally did my eyebrow embroidery on 14th as I have more time before I fetched her after CCA. It's almost painless and I am super elated that I do not need to draw my eyebrows anymore!!

With the new CCA Tuesdays, I realised my timing for cooking soup will be affected. As I couldn't get the old school Takahi brand slow cooker, I got a modernised Toyomi one. So far I made huai san, ABC, cabbage soups and porridge with it.

Lil C seems to be adapting well to her new class. She participates actively during lessons..💪

I attempted to change the curtains on my own and I managed to do it! It's definitely exhausting!

Had a scare when mum fell down on 21st on her way to meet me for our weekly wet market visit. Thankfully with the help of valor, frank, copaiba, ginger, the swell went down fast.

This CNY was the worse for me ever.
Hub had gout attack on the Eve and we argued on day 1 night when I told him that need to change the bedsheets in the guest room. I didn't want him to fall sick again. He didn't want to and I wanted to do it. In the end, he unwillingly did it. He hugged me the next day but I was actually still pissed. I didn't like the idea of the MIL coming over on day 2 with her cooking as I hate to entertain her especially in our home for the entire day 2. Of course I am so afraid that she will go around to say things again. In the end, the hub was provoked. I had to prepare lunch and dinner. He was okay on day 3 and we had dinner with mum, pei, Aunt Fen's family. Lil Harper just reminded me of my lil C when she was a baby.

Hub had another attack and AGAIN it's on a Friday. 邪門!! This entire month of January is incredibly slow for me and definitely horrible for hub.

On the 30th swimming lesson, lil C had to repeatedly jump into the pool and she was so brave. As I watched, I was so scared about it. She kept sneezing during the entire lesson. Eventually, her nose was blocked at night and woke me up around 1 plus. I gave her sterimar, avamys and even illiadin. In order to let her go back to sleep, I apply Tranquil on her wrist and neck. I also swiped lemon, ginger and t3 to put in her nose bridge and sinus points. Thankfully, she was all well the next day. She had to stay in school till 5pm for Mother Tongue drama. I was worried for the long hours in school. I didn't sleep for the entire night and felt terrible. Decided to go back to sleep and woke up at 10am. I went for my massage appointment and Dorra. A fruitful day in the end.

January is always a month of intense sneezing for lil C. 🙄 The winds and something in the air trigger her allergies. I just hope her immunity can withstand all the allergens.

As we were.going to bid January adieus, Singapore has to face the WH V attack. It's worrying when we have school going children. Please keep them safe... Always 🙏💪

Last month of 2019..

I never like December. Used to like when I was still working in Koch. Loved the Xmas lunch, gift exchanges and half days. It's a light hearted month then.. also I was afraid of this month when the bro gave me umpteen problems.

It's always a busy month now that my lil C is a primary school student and it's the school holidays. I had to keep her busy.

It's finally the time I let go.. for lil C to shower on her own. I taught her on 1st and she started on 2nd. All good!

I booked cycling lessons and it didn't start on a good note on 3rd. The coach made awful jokes and didn't try to make my shy lil C comfortable until I commented. Thankfully lil C 争气, got better and could find her balance. She didn't cry when she fall. Earned some brownie points.. 😅
I was so proud of her when she managed to cycle on 13th. She was all good and cycle far. But the coach was unfriendly and not encouraging.

The swim coach texted me after class on 5th that she is glad that lil C put in efforts and it was all thanks to Daddy's presence. She is proud of her most enthusiastic student! 😀 Lil C said nooo... I knew she always enjoys swimming and tries her best.

We had a simple 11th wedding anniversary celebration. When I told lil C in the morning of 5th that it's our wedding anniversary, she got excited. I decided to go hunt for a heart shaped cake in Northpoint after her piano class and eventually we found it at Country Brot. I ordered hub's favourite Tenderfresh. He gave me a surprise when he showed me Jay Chou's concert tickets! As hub was having knee pain, he is trying his best to celebrate with me although I knew he is not really in the right mood for it.

His knee pain heightened on Fri, 6th and he was limping. Mum volunteered to come over to look after lil C while I accompanied hub to see Dr Tho, an orthopaedic. Thankfully the MRI results didnt confirm his initial suspected ulcers in the knee. We went back on 9th to see him. But hub has worn out cartilage signs. I really hope the glycosaminoglycans collagen drink can help. It's also mainly due to gout which causes the high inflammation.

The weather turned very cold on 11th as it rained the entire day. Lil C started to sneeze and many times the entire day. I was.worried and oil the usual EOs as well as ginger on her. 🙏

The next day, it was all sunny! Complete opposite! But the water in the pool was very cold as the wind is strong. Lil C told me it's so cold and she sneezed twice. But on the other hand, she coughed out phlegm. I also decided not to use Avamys (12th). Hope that her blocked nose can go away soon. But used it on 13th. Stopped for a few nights thereafter.

TWC last lesson on 14th. It was very sweet of Ms H to write encouraging words for lil C. Next year, she will go to the Sembawang branch for lessons. Will miss Ms H.. Fingers crossed, hope that she would have a kind and patient teacher next year too, especially in a new environment!

We went to Ti Gong Tua temple with mummy on Mon, 16th and it was the first time lil C took public transport with her. One kind hearted man overheard me asking about the MRT and directed us to the bus stop nearby to go to Tiong Bahru met station. I realised we could take bus 16 to Orchard. It's so much easier to go back to Yishun. As lil C had carsick on our way to the temple, I thought of not taking the taxi back. It's a good bus and train experience for lil C and mummy too. Mummy hasn't been on both for a long time.

17th to 20th: KidStartNow Chinese holiday camp
Finally decided to sign lil C up after some thoughts. I had wanted to sign up for June holiday program but was worried about the outing without parents.

We woke up very early and took taxi to Kovan. Lil C could even recognise the same route every taxi driver took.

I felt uneasy when I left her there on the first day. I didn't expect the school to be in a 3 room flat and the teacher was from China. I went for scalp treatment and had my favourite MOS fish burger for lunch. Thankfully the first day went smoothly although she did complain about writing two compositions. I assured her it will be better for the next few days. The place is bright with laminated flooring..Small but cozy.

It's only now I discovered Kovan is such a convenient area to live in, especially Kovan Melody and Kovan Residences condos. They were right opposite the mrt. But the prices are high.

I went for scalp treatment at PHS and ended upbuying tonic for my scalp too.

Day 2: I woke up late and was so rushed. We still managed to reach on time. After that, I explored the NE line and went to Si Ma Lu. It's then shopping at Bugs Junction and I bought red and maroon tees for hub for Xmas. Also bought new shoes for the boys. I had my favorite ytf at Bugis cube ~ craving satisfied. 😬.. My legs ached and I thought of going to Nex to do pedicure so that I can soak my feet too. It was not a good place as they hard sell, abeilt doing a good job in removing fungus in my toes. I had to flare up before they stopped selling me a package of 2K!

The teacher gave me feedback on lil C. She has good learning attitude and that's most important.

Day 3: Lil C looked forward to class as they used tablet for class. It's facial time for me. And I finally booked an appointment for eyebrow embroidery next month! I went OG for shopping and found good walking shoes by podiatrist. It's my first buying expensive shoes, but there is 50% discount on the second pair.

As the reports indicated a cold and rainy last two weeks of Dec, I cancelled her swimming lessons.

I was worried of her going to Spurbox on the last day of class and hence I hid while I saw them go up the coach bus. Thankfully all was good. But I wish they can send pictures to us. After my massage at Amore, I decided to go to Dorra. My tummy is growing bigger😣 and I need to do something about it. Hopefully all can turn out well..🙏

Met up Shermane and her boys on 23rd. Lil C has such a great time with them at Kids Amaze. They even found their common love for Saizeriya! Always love our annual meet up!

Christmas is never like before. We don't hold parties at our home anymore from 2017 to 2019. I don't like to entertain and I just want to spend it quietly with hubby and lil C. I brought lil C to PHS for her haircut on 24th and she was so looking forward to the hairwash!

I cooked a simple dinner on Eve and we went to Science Centre on Christmas Day. It was definitely a wonderful experience as we learned about the gases and was amazed with the combustion. Lil C bravely volunteered and she said she loved the Santa office escape activity the most. But poor hub, he still hasn't recovered from the persistent knee pain. He had to rest at the cafe while I accompanied lil C. But I was very glad we had a memorable time!

As for dinner, we ordered in food. Hub bought a log cake.

Love this couple pic!

On Boxing Day, lil C woke up requesting to go to Universal Studios. It's also my plan to go since it's the last weekday of the school holidays that we can go. I had cancelled the swimming lesson earlier as it was reported that it will be a wet and cold Xmas. So I was super thankful for the good weather although we had to wait under the hot sun for the canopy ride. Haha! This was our third December visit. Lil C got braver each year and she tried the mini roller coaster this time! I was honestly scared but I had to do it with her....hmm mothers!! 😅

The last weekend of December is always free of all enrichment and dance. But I was a tad disappointed when Hub knee pain acted up again. No choice, I had to go out alone with lil C. Glad all went well... We bought her new uniform and skirts after a 45 mins queue and watched movie. Sitting on a couple seat just brought back fond memories... Those were the days with the then boyfriend (now hub) 😘

Lil C and I went to Jewel Changi Experience Studio and we spent an incredible 3 hours there before we had dinner at her favourite Prive. Hub couldn't join us after we went to Si Ma Lu temple. He needed to rest his leg. Lil C really has a beautiful smile which her eyes will also 'smile'. She scored between 80 plus and her highest of 92.7 in the smile game. She was even in 6 positions out of the top 10!

We had a quiet new year's Eve. I cooked dinner and hub bought a yuzu mango cake from The Pattiser.

Last day of December...

As the school holidays is reaching an end, I began to feel sad.. gonna miss my beauty sleep till 9am!

Till the next school holidays....🤗
Goodbye 2019...
