My off days....

Took leave last Thurs and Fri. Hubby was on leave for the entire week. I can only managed to take 2 days and work from home when needed.


We decided to go IMM on Thurs to shop for household stuff.. First, we had lunch at a restaurant - Taiwan Express. The 三杯雞, 炸豆腐 and mixed fruit tea are very good. 嚕肉飯 and 雞排 are acceptable. But the 蚵仔大腸麵線 is disappointing...

After filling up our stomaches, we went to look at TVs at Gain City... Gather some info there. Then we went to Best Denki to look at refrigerators. Took down the prices and details too... Went to Daiso and then proceed with our bed hunting. We started with Sealy, then to Simmons and finally Serta.... All 3 are besides one another. Finally we settled with Serta King mattress. Worth the buy and with lots of freebies too. :)

Wanted to have coffee after that. We went to Ah Mei Cafe and rested for a while. Hubby had wanted to buy a massage chair for our new home. After a day, a week's stress.... can relax......
We went to OTO first. Tried on the machine and was impressed. But I think should also try OSIM. The UDesire at OSIM is better... space saving too.... Price is very reasonable and we were given a free head massenger too. Service at OSIM was much better too....

Bought two items on Thurs... We then drove back to Woodlands. Had dinner, shopped for a while and watched the movie - Clash of the Titans. It is the 3D version... Quite a good try, except that the specs keep coming off.... ^o^

Friday's itinerary..... Brought both mums to Tang Gah temple at Bukit Purmei to pray and we had lor mee for brunch... We headed to Balestier to look at lightnings after that. Got lots of useful info from one of the shops there. Very pleased.... I wanted to eat the Loong Fatt Tau Sah Piah and hubby parked along the road and I bought 8 from the shop..... Next, we went to Gain City at AMK to look at air-con and other electrical applicances. Did not buy any yet. Got more info and brochures for reference..... Since we were at AMK, hubby drove to the central and we bought the Tip Top curry puffs.... All for lunch cum tea break..... Yum Yum!

It was mahjong session after we reached home.... All of us have fun! At about 8 plus, hubby drove us to Sembawang to have fishhead steamboat and zhi char..... Good food!!
